Every year, it seems I forget how chaotic the beginning of a school year is. Between Meet the Teacher, all the work that goes into the first month or so, grading, lesson planning, Curriculum Night, all the meetings, and the trainings for new programs- it's freakin' exhausting!
I did manage to squeeze in a bit of scrapping this weekend, though, even if I should have been grading papers... Aunt Karen gave me some birthday money and I actually spent it on me - at my favorite LSS, of course. We had our gender ultrasound this week - it's a girl!! Annabelle Ruthmarie. So the new u.s. pics went in the frame, and I was able to work with our 12 week pic.
Now I should actually get to that grading. We're heading over to my folks' later for birthday cake with the family. Happy Sunday afternoon.
